Singing and dancing group BESKID was established in 1954. Its programme contains artistically worked out folklore of the region of Silesia, The Beskidy and Tatra Mountains and the surroundings of Cieszyn, Nowy Sacz, Lublin, Rzeszów and Cracow. The group presents musical farces and small dancing forms showing folk customs and traditions as well as national dances.
